SOWESCO announces its first step toward becoming ISO 9001:2008 certified with the addition of a new Positive Material Identification (PMI) testing process. Both the Houston and Phoenix locations have begun testing samples of all solid wire product upon receipt with our Niton X-Ray Fluorescence Analyzers. The PMI testing verifies the reported chemistry to ensure all outgoing product meets AWS specifications. SOWESCO follows a very strict Quality Management System (QMS) and leads the way with product quality and verification.
